Oudenaarde, circa 1570-1590

Woven in silk and wool with a female figure and her attendant, who bears a shield decorated with the face of a satyr. In the background another female figure is seated on a throne drawn on a chariot.

194cm (76⅜”) high and 106cm (41¾”) wide.
