Aubusson, circa 1820-1830

Woven in wool and silk, the sienna field with a design of repeating flowerheads within a bead and reel lattice in gold ochre, centred with a rosette on an ivory ground encircled by a garland of flowers.

193cm (76”) long and 127cm (50”) wide.
