A cushion of 18th century French silk

Circa 1735-1745

The yellow damask gros de Tours ground brocaded with flowers and leaves in silk and metal thread, edged with green fringe and backed with tussar silk. Made up of three joined panels.

30cm (11¾”) high and 43cm (17”) wide.
