An unidentified saint holding an illegible scroll beneath blue vaulted ceiling, embroidered in coloured silks in split stitch, satin stitch and laid silk with trellis couching, and silver-gilt and silver threads in brick stitch and underside couching, on a linen ground. With losses to the silk.

Now laid on a panel of 16th century blue linen, and framed.

The textile 20.9cm (8¼”) high and 21.4cm (8⅜”) wide, in a gilt frame 40.2cm (15⅞”) high and 40.2cm (15⅞”) wide.
